Learning outcomes

University of Massachusetts Lowell is pleased to announce that its Bachelor’s Degree in English will soon be available entirely online.

"One of the things I love about teaching [online] is the direct interaction with students, individually and as a community. I assumed it was not possible to have the same degree of quality interactions," according to English professor Todd Avery. Winner of the 2012 Haskell Memorial Award for Distinguished Teaching and teacher of the popular online course "Monsters, Apes & Nightmares," Associate Professor Avery has dedicated a good deal of his time towards launching this new online English degree.
