In computer science, we "look under the hood," so to speak, and try to understand how both hardware and software work. Computer science is the study of algorithms and the sequences of well-defined instructions that are realized as code running on physical computers. Computer science is not just writing computer programs, it's about writing good computer programs and knowing why they are good. While it may be frustrating to debug a program, it's also satisfying to finally get it to run correctly. The experience is like climbing a mountain - a lot of sweat and hard work in the process, but the view from the top is worth it!

General requirements

Certified Secondary and Post-Secondary Records. These records should be certified copies of original official records/transcripts of secondary and post-secondary school work.
Official TOEFL scores of 550 or higher, or TOEFL iBT scores of 79 or higher if your first language is any other than English: You can be exempted from the TOEFL if you score a 600 or higher on the verbal portion of the SAT. We also recognize IELTS scores. To be considered for admission, scores must exceed 6.5.
SAT: combined score of 1050 or higher
ACT: composite of 20 or higher
Two letters of recommendation.
Degree seeking International students must be a minimum age of 17 before they can apply for admission to Wittenberg University. No Student over the age of 22 can apply.
