Our Social Work program has been continuously accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) since 1982. CSWE is the premier organization for accreditation of social work programs.
Colorado State University Pueblo faculty and staff are dedicated towards providing a rich and interacting learning experience where our students get to work hands-on with a local agency that helps them collaborate with individuals, families, and communities in need.Our graduates are highly regarded by the social service community. They are sought after to fill social work staffing needs in the surrounding urban and rural communities in this region. Many graduates from this program are administrators and practitioners in social service agencies throughout Southern Colorado.

- Pay the $30 USD admissions fee
- In general, students must have at least a 2.0 GPA to be considered for admission
- Official high school transcripts are required for all students without transfer coursework, for any students who have transfer coursework that was earned while in high school, and for students who have completed less than 24 college-level credits after high school.
- An applicant must demonstrate the listed minimum level of English proficiency
- A financial statement regarding the resources available to the student during his or her stay in the United States is required. The combined amount of resources available to the student (and any dependents for whom the student is seeking a visa) must meet or exceed the annual cost of attendance.
