The Bachelor of Arts in Art from Colorado State University Pueblo is committed to being accessible to students from a variety of University disciplines, our vibrant Pueblo culture and the Southwest United States. Art, history and education are fundamental to a community’s identity; they are a reflection of its values and are key to fostering a diverse culture of lifelong learners.

Goals

Prepare students in the practices of Studio Art, Creative Media, Art History, and Art Education toward the achievement of personal creative goals, art-related careers or further academic and professional education.

Provide relevant studio and laboratory opportunities within well-appointed facilities that are conducive to creative growth and the development of fundamental skills across a range of formal topics.

Nurture an environment that encourages professional curiosity, collaboration and respect for diverse and multiple viewpoints.

Provide services and experiences to a variety of University disciplines as well as local, regional and national communities, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and global citizenship.

General requirements

Submit a completed application. First-year students will select the “Undergraduate First-Year” option for the desired beginning term. Pay the $30 USD admissions fee

Upload a copy of an unexpired passport on your application status page. We will also require a passport for any family member (spouse or dependent child) who will be traveling with you

Email a copy of the student scorecard from the IELTS, TOEFL, or DuoLingo (DET) exam to info@csupueblo.edu. You may not need to submit English-proficiency exam results if you meet one of the exemptions

Upload documentation of financial support on your application status

Request evaluation of high school transcripts through one of the services listed on CSU Pueblo’s website (see Transcripts below). You must send official copies of your transcripts directly to the evaluation service. The evaluation service will provide a copy of your transcript to CSU Pueblo along with the completed evaluation of transcript
