Key Facts

As part of our accelerated 3+2 PA program, you’ll study at Saint Mary’s state-of-the-art Aquinas Hall on the Winona Campus for three years. The following two years, you’ll learn from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences faculty at Saint Mary’s Rochester Campus. Here, you’ll engage in clinical learning experiences at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and throughout Mayo Clinic Health System. At the end of your fourth year, you’ll earn a Bachelor of Arts in Biology Health Science from Saint Mary’s, and at the end of your fifth year, you’ll earn a Master of Health Sciences degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. Responding to a national need, this program creates highly skilled PAs who will work for Mayo Clinic Health Systems throughout the Midwest, serving patients with integrity and having a direct and meaningful impact on the quality of their patients’ lives.

An essay or brief personal statement. In 250 words or fewer, please tell us about: a significant experience you've had, an accomplishment or risk you have taken, a person who has made a difference in your life, a topic of concern to you, or anything else you think would help us learn more about you. You can also choose to submit a graded paper or write something new!

Letters of recommendation are optional.
