Why should I study Applied Physics?

Applied Physics is the foundation for virtually all engineering and technology. Our technologically based society must have an adequate supply of workers who understand physics, and equally importantly, know how to use their knowledge.

Our goal is to develop graduates who are equipped for high-technology employment, interdisciplinary research, and graduate education in applied science and engineering.

Bethel University has a long tradition of preparing students for careers in both engineering and physics. Our applied physics program builds directly on this success, helping you apply the foundations of physics to the problems in industry and areas of research found in a wide variety of graduate programs. You'll leave Bethel with solid technical skills, a breadth of learning, and strong people skills developed in a liberal arts setting.
