Electronics Engineering Technology is an in-demand field that is focused on the theory, concepts, and practical applications of electrical engineering. Oregon Tech Electronics Engineering Technology graduates possess a combination of theoretical and practical understanding and skills, and are ready for professional practice on Day One because of the real-world, applied approaches that students engage in throughout the program. The Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology (BSEET) program is specifically designed to prepare graduates to assume engineering and technology positions in the electronics industry. The BSEET program is especially suited for working professionals with an associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Microelectronics Technology or equivalent coursework. A transfer student would take two years to earn a BSEET degree, and three years for a BS in Electrical Engineering. The curriculum, content, and rigor of Oregon Tech’s BSEET and BSEE programs are closely matched. However, our BSEET program focuses more on the applied aspect of electrical engineering aimed at preparing graduates to assume engineering and technology positions in the electronics industry.
