Overview
In the course of their History studies, Denison University students are exposed to a wide range of different historical periods and geographic regions, including courses on the history of America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
The Department of History encourages students to think historically, critically, globally & locally, to solve problems and practice engaged citizenship while communicating effectively. History majors graduate prepared to negotiate a complex, uncertain, and often changing world landscape, equipped with unique abilities to discern and integrate multiple perspectives as they engage in creative problem solving.
