Overview
This online Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies program from University of Arkansas combines the university's core course requirements with related minors, certificates and microcertificates that correspond to your educational goals.

Options
There are three options for students who wish to pursue a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies:
- Option 1 – Construction of an Interdisciplinary Studies major consisting of three thematically linked minors, at least one of which from the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. Students will follow the specific program requirements as specified by each minor. For Option 1, Thematically Linked Coursework must contain a minimum of 45 credit hours with a maximum number of hours dependent on which group of three minors are selected.
- Option 2 – Construction of an Interdisciplinary Studies major consisting of a thematically linked set of coursework primarily selected from, but not limited to, courses in Fulbright College. For Option 2, Thematically Linked Coursework must contain a minimum of 45 credit hours with a maximum of 21 hours of course work from a single discipline. Thirty credit hours of the proposed coursework must be numbered at the 3000-level or higher. At least two-thirds of the advanced level coursework must be completed on the UA-Fayetteville campus.
- Option 3 - Construction of an Interdisciplinary Studies major consisting of three to five thematically linked minors, certificates and microcertificates, at least one of which from the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. Students will follow the specific program requirements as specified by each minor, certificate, and/or microcertificate. For Option 3, Thematically Linked Coursework must contain a minimum of 45 credit hours with a maximum number of hours dependent on which minors, certificates or microcertificates are selected.
