These real-world opportunities provide Special Education- Elementary majors the opportunity to implement evidence-based instruction under the supervision of Saginaw Valley State University faculty, supervisors and practicing teachers. As a whole, these aspiring educators learn how to effectively support and advocate for students who are eligible to receive special education services under Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cognitive Impairment and Learning Disabilities in a kindergarten through twelfth-grade and post-secondary setting. Copy of passport name/photo page (and any dependent(s))

Evidence of Financial Support (original bank statement signed and stamped by the bank) for one academic year, $34,175 USD

Unofficial transcripts, translated into English from all institutions attended outside the U.S.

official international transcripts must be provided after arrival

official U.S. transcripts must be provided prior to admission

Request to have official scores on the English language test sent directly to SVSU (if scores are not submitted or are below requirements, conditional admission may be offered)

Request to have official SAT or ACT scores sent directly to SVSU for additional scholarship consideration. (NOT REQUIRED).
