Students applying to a bachelor’s degree program with no previous coursework at a college or university are considered first–time, first-year (freshmen) university students. The application requirements are different for students coming from a High School in the United States or outside of the country:
International students who have completed only coursework from the United States, or have a combination of international and U.S. coursework, must meet the minimum Admissions Requirements to be considered for admission.
First-time, first-year applicants must have completed the secondary education/high school in their own country or the equivalent in another country. Good academic standing with a “2.5” grade point average (on a scale of A, B, C, D, F) or better for all the courses taken, including Math/Science, at the secondary school is required.
