Overview

The BA in International Letters and Cultures at Arizona State University is a degree program grounded in the advanced study of at least one foreign language. It is more transcultural and transdisciplinary than a traditional languages and literatures degree program and is designed to encourage students to explore and challenge the traditional boundaries of cultures, texts and disciplines.

Students work closely with faculty and advisors to choose a program that combines study and research in a minimum of two cultures or disciplines, or in both.

First-year students must have a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) from a secondary school.
Must have three years of high school work (If you are currently in high school, ASU needs to see 9–11 grade work. If you have completed high school then ASU needs to see 10–12 grade work).
Must have and present a completed high school diploma or certificate.
