Overview
The Mathematics program is offered by Midland University. Many employers recognize that students with a strong math background (major or minor) generally have excellent problem-solving skills and hardworking characteristics. The compressed major allows students to double major in math and another major of their choice (accounting, business, biology, and many others). Double majors in mathematics and one other major are very competitive in the job market in a variety of careers! Midland mathematics minor is an excellent complement to any major.
Midland University’s mathematics program offers a variety of upper-division courses that provide students a solid foundation in different branches of mathematics. Our small class sizes allow professors to give students close personal attention. Our students have plenty of opportunities to be involved in course projects and class presentations.
