Overview
The Transformational Development programme is offered by University of Mary Hardin Baylor. The study of Christian theology and missiology, combined with the study of foundational business principles, prepares students to be servant leaders as they create and sustain mission-based organizations, churches, ministries, non-profits, and for-profits, both locally and globally.
Key Facts
- I believe God has called me both to ministry and business. I want to work in a non-profit Christian organization. I want to minister and work in another country where my business skills will be valued.
- The BTD combines a variety of courses in Christian studies with foundational courses in business. If you want to prepare for the business world as well as gain a deeper understanding of the Bible and theology, our BTD is the path for you.
- This degree provides great preparation for ministry in non-traditional settings or bi-vocational ministry. Students have the opportunity to go on many exciting study abroad trips, including trips to Israel that include excavation opportunities.
- The College of Christian Studies has taken students to Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Rome and Greece, and each trip allows students to earn college credit. Financial assistance is available for all UMHB students.
