The Health Science programme is offered by University of Mary Hardin Baylor. The curriculum includes the prerequisites and science courses required for admission to a doctoral level programme in physical therapy, or chiropractic medicine, master’s/doctoral-level in occupational therapy, master’s in physician assistant programme, and medical school.

Students complete three Health Sciences Clinical courses which allow them to observe and shadow three licensed physical or occupational therapists, in different areas of specialization, to gain insight into those specialties.

Several of the undergraduate courses in this major are taught by licensed physical and occupational therapists; this allows students to interact with professionals in their area of interest and gain a better understanding of their chosen profession.

Students have the opportunity to assist professors in cutting-edge nutritional, exercise, health, and rehabilitative research in UMHB’s state-of-the-art laboratories.

Complete your International Application form online and submit your non-refundable $75 application fee. You can pay when you submit your online application or choose one of our other payment options.

Submit your high school transcripts including proof of program completion, such as a high school diploma or certificate. If you have not already graduated, you should submit proof of your program completion when it is received. Please note that submitted materials should be translated into English.

Submit proof of English Proficiency in the form of a TOEFL or IELTS scorecard. UMHB offers both intermediate and advanced ESOL courses for international students. UMHB does not offer admission for full-time English language study.

Submit proof of current meningitis vaccine or booster.

Submit the required Statement of Understanding. You may also submit the optional FERPA Release Form.

Submit a copy of your passport identification page.
