The Interior Design Major is offered by Florida State University. The interior design program leading to the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in interior design is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation.

Both degree programs are accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the National Association of the Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). The Department of Interior Architecture & Design does not offer a minor, although select courses may be taken by non-majors based on availability. The CIDA-accredited program prepares students for entry-level interior design practice, for advanced study, and to apply for membership in professional interior design organizations. The Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees granted by Florida State University meet the educational requirement for eligibility to sit for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification Examination (NCIDQ Exam).
