Overview
Coursework in Human Development and Family Studies at Utah State University is designed to help students deal with current issues confronting families and children in the nation and the world.
Come learn how human development, family relationships, and consumer issues affect the individual and family. You will become an expert on current issues impacting individuals and families, and gain tools to help make a difference.
Through your coursework and research during your degree, you will become an expert in helping others improve their lives. There are career paths available across the lifespan from childcare and preschool to program directing with aging populations.There are also a number of community service career options available including working with social service agencies, foster care, crisis centers, residential treatment facilities, senior citizen centers, and more. Graduates also work with community education through organizations such as Extension and 4-H. With this major you can work to improve the human condition across the lifespan.
