Overview

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Physics at St. Thomas Aquinas College provides candidates with a background in various disciplines within Physics while allowing flexibility in credits to take a minor or a second major. This program offers both lecture and laboratory experiences designed to prepare students for a wide variety of career options in the STEM field. Students will also have the opportunity to conduct hands-on research with one of our Physics faculty

No matter which of our programs you choose, from Biology to Computer Science, from Mathematics to Exercise Science, discovery and innovation are embedded in every aspect of your time as a STEM scholar. CAREERS IN PHYSICS

Physics majors may discover careers in research in all areas of science, including astronomy, materials science, energy, the environment, medicine, biology, chemistry, engineering, geophysics, and meteorology. They can be lab technicians or lab managers. They can go into industry as engineers or into education as physics teachers.

Complete your Common Application. It's a snap! Remember to include your college essay.

Have your college counselor send us transcripts from your secondary (high) school.

Send your SAT or ACT scores to STAC. We will take only your highest scores into consideration, especially if you test more than once.

All international students are required to take either the TOEFL , IELTS, Duolingo English Test or Pearson PTE English language proficiency exam, unless your secondary school was primarily taught in English.

STAC requires at least one letter of recommendation. This can be from a teacher, coach, mentor, or adviser who knows you well. All letters of recommendation can be emailed directly to the international admissions counselor or to admissions@stac.edu.

Any student attending secondary (high) school outside of the U.S. must have a transcript evaluation completed by any of the organizations on the NACES membership list.
