Our alumni include men and women who are making strides to advance their professions and serve their communities. They include a Pulitzer prize winner, Emmy award winners, a former governor, newspaper and broadcast reporters, public relations professionals, CEOs, COOs, and more.
Communication majors are also an integral part of the new media movement. With your communication degree, you'll be prepared to help companies shape their brands, use social media and web communications for traditional media outlets, and bring your messages to wider audiences.
By the end of your program you will have a compelling portfolio of work, a fresh skill set for your career of choice, and knowledge which will enable you both to pursue a current career and to envision new careers.

Accreditation

Our undergraduate mass communication and public relations programs are accredited by ACEJMC, the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications.

Programme Structure

From your first semester, you:

get to build your portfolio through classes and extracurricular activities;
accumulate conceptual competencies and hands-on experience with online and print publications;
acquire digital TV and radio production, podcasts, advertising and public relations campaigns, and communication consultation projects;
are able to network with professionals and test your skills in internships.
