- Students in Sports, Recreation, and Wellness can become Program Directors of Sports, Recreation, and Wellness Programs and Institutions (e.g., YMCA).
- The Bachelor of Arts in Community Education degree program with Sports, Recreation, and Wellnessat major at West Liberty University requires minimum total 120 credit hours course of study.
- Despite the intention of this program to be an accelerated three-year program, students who wish to expand their studies to four years have the option to do so, by not taking summer classes but adding a fourth year of Fall IV and/or Spring IV classes.

- Applications should be submitted during the first semester of the senior year in high school along with the high school transcript.
- Students from non-English speaking countries must provide evidence of English language proficiency.
- Certified Copies of all Official Academic Records must be submitted in the original language of issue as well as the certified English language translation of these academic records.
- Applicants who have studied in the United States are required to have the institution(s) in the United States send their official transcripts directly to West Liberty.
- All international student applicants, including first-time freshmen and degree seeking transfer students, must have all previously earned credit evaluated in order for West Liberty to award the transfer of credit.
