The West Liberty University Psychology program follows the American Psychological Association guidelines for the Undergraduate Psychology Major. The skills learned throughout the program are transferable to almost any profession.

Graduates will demonstrate fundamental knowledge and comprehension of the major concepts, theoretical perspectives, historical trends, and empirical finding to discuss how psychological principles apply to behavioral problems.

Graduates will use scientific reasoning and problem solving, including effective research methods, to design and execute research plans and to draw conclusions about psychological phenomena.

Applications should be submitted during the first semester of the senior year in high school along with the high school transcript.

Students from non-English speaking countries must provide evidence of English language proficiency.
Certified Copies of all Official Academic Records must be submitted in the original language of issue as well as the certified English language translation of these academic records.
Applicants who have studied in the United States are required to have the institution(s) in the United States send their official transcripts directly to West Liberty.
All international student applicants, including first-time freshmen and degree seeking transfer students, must have all previously earned credit evaluated in order for West Liberty to award the transfer of credit.
