The curriculum is designed to promote critical thinking skills, effective writing, clear articulation and presentation, and analytical skills that transcend the subject matter.

Exercise Physiology students are also encouraged to participate in, and learn to appreciate the application of scientific research to real world problems and/or service for the benefit of the community, with consideration of the moral and ethical issues involved.

The West Liberty University program aims to develop well rounded individuals. Students will be equipped with the skills necessary to succeed in graduate school and/or professional fields of study, and will have a diverse array of options upon graduation.

General requirements

Applications should be submitted during the first semester of the senior year in high school along with the high school transcript.

Students from non-English speaking countries must provide evidence of English language proficiency.
Certified Copies of all Official Academic Records must be submitted in the original language of issue as well as the certified English language translation of these academic records.
Applicants who have studied in the United States are required to have the institution(s) in the United States send their official transcripts directly to West Liberty.
All international student applicants, including first-time freshmen and degree seeking transfer students, must have all previously earned credit evaluated in order for West Liberty to award the transfer of credit.
