- The West Liberty University Dental Hygiene Program is a comprehensive and rigorous training program that prepares students to enter the workforce as dental hygienists in the clinical setting.
- Our Bachelor Degree Dental Hygiene program guidelines will allow graduates of this bachelor’s degree level institution to be competent entry-level practitioners with solid skill sets necessary in a variety of settings requiring a BS degree.
- Fifty-seven credits are general education, science prerequisites and electives hours. The remaining sixty-three hours are clinical dental hygiene courses generally completed during the junior and senior years. Please refer to the Bachelor of Science Degree Requirements Advising Guide below.

General requirements
- Applications should be submitted during the first semester of the senior year in high school along with the high school transcript.
- Students from non-English speaking countries must provide evidence of English language proficiency.
- Certified Copies of all Official Academic Records must be submitted in the original language of issue as well as the certified English language translation of these academic records.
- Applicants who have studied in the United States are required to have the institution(s) in the United States send their official transcripts directly to West Liberty.
- All international student applicants, including first-time freshmen and degree seeking transfer students, must have all previously earned credit evaluated in order for West Liberty to award the transfer of credit.
