One of the major differences between Creative Arts Therapy and other forms of communication is that most other forms of communication require the use of words or language as a means of communication.

There may be times when it is difficult to express or identify underlying feelings and as in the case of a child or adult with intellectual disabilities, they may lack the ability to communicate how they feel with words.

General requirements

Applications should be submitted during the first semester of the senior year in high school along with the high school transcript.

Students from non-English speaking countries must provide evidence of English language proficiency.
Certified Copies of all Official Academic Records must be submitted in the original language of issue as well as the certified English language translation of these academic records.
Applicants who have studied in the United States are required to have the institution(s) in the United States send their official transcripts directly to West Liberty.
All international student applicants, including first-time freshmen and degree seeking transfer students, must have all previously earned credit evaluated in order for West Liberty to award the transfer of credit.
