The General Business concentration at Mississippi University for Women is designed for students who wish to obtain a breadth of knowledge in the fundamentals of business. The concentration provides a well-rounded program of study, and the flexibility for individual interests and career planning. Emphasis is placed on understanding business concepts and their application to solving business problems. Thus, the main objective of the program is to develop future business leaders who are creative, knowledgeable, innovative, ethical, and capable of adapting to the dynamic business environment of today’s global marketplace.
