Overview

Secondary Education Business, Management, Marketing, and Technology from Eastern Michigan University combines teaching strategies with core business/technology content taught in middle or high schools. Students are encouraged to offer innovative practices toward teaching goals and content delivery. Student’s required related work experience in this program is used to enhance and support what is needed to be taught.

Opportunities

BMMT courses are taught in three colleges (Business, Education, and Technology). The Technology courses are either taught online or as hybrid evening classes that meet the needs of busy students. The demand for teachers in this area is increasing with current teacher retirements and increased electives; school systems are having trouble filling open positions.
