Overview

Students are eligible to apply for the program after they have completed 75 credit hours, typically at the end of the junior year (with at least 30 credit hours at CSU), and they have shown appropriate progress in their degree program.

Once admitted to the combined program, the student may complete up to twelve (12) credit hours of graduate courses while enrolled in the undergraduate program. Nine (9) of these credits will count towards both the undergraduate and graduate degree requirements.

Careers

Graduates of the Biomedical Engineering - Accelerated program at Cleveland State University (CSU) work in biomedical product development and design, testing and quality assurance, and research. Students planning careers in academia or industrial research and development are strongly encouraged to select the thesis track, which will prepare them for continued education at the doctoral level (e.g. in Applied Biomedical Engineering).

All secondary school records, including certificates. All school records should be submitted in the original language and should be accompanied by a certified English translation.

All students must meet the minimum English proficiency requirements for admission consideration. All test scores must be official and sent directly to CSU from the testing institution. In order to receive a certificate of eligibility for a student visa from CSU, all international students must submit documentation of financial support for one academic year.
