Overview

This Sport Entertainment Management program from University of North Texas is offered in collaboration with the Dallas Cowboys providing our students unprecedented access to the most valuable sport franchise in the world. Offered exclusively at UNT at Frisco, across from the Dallas Cowboys Headquarters, this program will provide you extraordinary access to the Cowboys and some of the other hottest sports teams in the nation.

With UNT at Frisco, you'll have a front row seat to the sports industry at the highest level.

Aside from the Dallas Cowboys partnership, the program has relationships with the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Mavericks, FC Dallas, the Dallas Sports Commission, Learfield, Texas Motor Speedway and a multitude of minor league franchises throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Collectively, they will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the industry through class projects, internships and guest speakers. Not only will you receive a first-hand look at best practices, since this degree is available through UNT's College of Business, you're guaranteed a world-class business education.

What we offer

The core of the program consists of classes that allow you to understand how to manage sport organizations in the 21st century, and focus on building the sport brand, developing corporate partnerships, fan engagement strategies and talent management. We also offer you specific pathways that allow you to specialize in a certain facet of the sport entertainment management industry.
