Overview
Courses are more applied and less math intensive compared to engineering degrees. Many classes are held in the evening, providing students with the opportunity to work full-time during the day or to participate in a co-op program. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology program at Miami University is accredited by ABET, Inc., the recognized accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology.
Career Options
Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology graduates are prepared to fill industrial positions in areas directly related to product design, process control, testing, manufacturing, sales, and service. They have also gone on to advanced study in the discipline. Nearly 100 percent of students in the program have a job upon graduation.
