Overview
Students will earn a BS degree in Computer Engineering after four years of study and complete the 30-credit requirement for the MS degree with one additional year of work.
Typical Five-Year Plan
- Complete three graduate courses (9 credits) during senior year.
- Complete the remaining 21 credits of graduate study over the 12-month period following the senior year.
- All graduate courses in this program must be taken at Villanova University.
Application Timeline
Students interested in the BS/MS program from Villanova University should contact the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate program advisor (currently Dr. Ahmad Hoorfar) as early as possible during their undergraduate studies.
Students formally apply to the BS/MS program in the spring semester of junior year. Notification of admission status comes with successful completion of that year. Admitted students coordinate their course plan for the fourth and fifth years with the undergraduate and graduate advisors.
