Overview

At Music from University of Sydney you will specialise in discipline-specific studies in popular music, film and television, or in the media and tech industry. Core studies also include performance and ensemble practice, music theory and aural skills, and music analysis, history and culture studies.

Students in the final year can undertake music specialist project work or honours for further research study. Additionally, students will complete a major and/or minor from the shared pool and any elective units from the Open Learning Environment (OLE) or the shared pool as needed to make up the requirements of the course.
