Description

The Marion Macaulay Bequest has been bequeathed to the University of Sydney in order to assist students to achieve their educational potential in the area of humanities.

Benefits

A recipient will receive the scholarship valued at the below rates:

up to $7,000 for approved exchange programs of 6 months or longer, or

up to $3,500 for approved short-term mobility program of less than 6 months.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be enrolled to study in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney
  • intend to apply or have applied to go on a University of Sydney Exchange program or short-term mobility program
  • intend to commence the approved exchange or short-term mobility program within the calendar year of the scholarship application closing date
  • be experiencing financial hardship
  • not be a recipient of any of the following scholarships:
    • Charles Herbert Currey Memorial Scholarship
    • The Bachelor of Arts (Languages) Exchange Scholarship, or
    • SCA Student Fauvette Loureiro Memorial Scholarship
