Description

This scholarship aims to financially support an asylum seeker or refugee to commence an undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney.

Benefits

The scholarship will cover tuition fees of up to $50,000 per year, for the duration of the recipients approved course.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be enrolled as an international student 
  • hold asylum seeker status in Australia including one of the following visas (or equivalent) at the time of application:
    • Bridging Visa A (subclass 010)
    • Bridging Visa E (subclass 050)
    • Temporary Protection Visa (Subclass 785)
    • Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (subclass 790)
    • Temporary Humanitarian Concern Visa (subclass 786) 
    • Temporary Humanitarian Stay Visa (Subclass 449)
  • be commencing in an undergraduate award course of up to 4 years.
