Overview

The Africana Studies programme at Northeastern University provides an interdisciplinary framework for the systematic examination of the African Diaspora. Students explore the historical, social, and political experiences of Black communities across the globe. This degree allows for specialised focus in either African American or African Studies.

The curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking regarding power, racism, and intersectionality.
