Overview

Through the BA in Professional Communication from The City University of New York course work, you'll become familiar with theories of language development. You'll also learn about the anatomy, physiology, and neurology that make speech and hearing possible. Through clinical work and internships, you'll work with people of all ages in many different kinds of careers that require expert communication skills, in settings ranging from schools and hospitals to private practice.
