Highlights

The North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University Music (Performance) Program has been fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) since 1991.

Advanced musical knowledge and inherent musical talent are prerequisites for successfully pursuing this degree program. Many music performance majors plan to continue their musical studies in graduate school.

The Greater Greensboro Area is rich with performance opportunities and a consortium agreement with several other colleges/universities allows a wide range of flexibility in available courses. On campus you may participate in the University Concert, Symphonic, and Marching Bands; the University Choir; Chamber Singers, Jazz Ensemble, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Opera Workshop; or Brass, Woodwind, and Percussion Ensembles.
