To be accepted into the Physical Therapy program at Ohio University, selected candidates must also meet all of the following criteria:

  • GRE verbal and quantitative scores at the 50% percentile or higher
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.5

  • 40 hours of PT volunteer/observation verified by a physical therapist
  • 3 letters of recommendation from two different physical therapists and one college professor

International Baccalaureate Curriculum
  • For students studying an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, we generally expect an average of 5 out of 7 on your college-preparatory curriculum. IB Higher Level examinations may also be eligible for transfer credit.
