Overview
Drawing upon the best scholarship and research in law, economics, psychology, and philosophy, the faculty and staff of the Business and Society BSc program offered at New York University are dedicated to furthering education, research, and public engagement in fields such as professional responsibility, human rights, law and business, social entrepreneurship, and the design of ethically effective organizations.
The Social Impact Core Curriculum helps students to:
- Become more aware of multiple stakeholder perspectives on important business issues;
- Develop a more nuanced understanding of the many relationships between corporations, governments, NGO’s, market economies and civil society;
- Begin the process of developing professional ethics in harmony with their own personal values; and
- Learn to articulate, defend, and reflect critically on a point of view

- Official score reports (see NYU’s standardized testing requirements).
- An audition or portfolio for specific artistic program applicants to the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development and Tisch School of the Arts.
- English language testing if you have not completed at least 3 years of study where English is the sole language of instruction and English is not your native language.
- Official transcripts of all college work that you have received academic credit for.
- The Common Application Mid Year Report with updated transcript.
