Programme Structure

Courses include:

  • A minimum of 21 hours of course work in addition to courses satisfying General Education Program requirements, and distributed as follows:
  • 3 hours in a communication arts course that focuses on writing or speaking.
  • 18 hours in arts and sciences, including a minimum of 3 hours each in arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. 
  • A minimum of 27 hours in a discipline or disciplines (including current minors or emphases) related to the student’s area of technical or professional training or other specialized interest, including a minimum of 15 hours at the 300/400 level. B. A minimum of 3 hours in a capstone course (seminar, individual research, special topics, practicum, field experience or internship).
