Key facts

After graduation, many of students attend top graduate programs, while others embark on careers at for-profit ventures, not-for-profit organizations, foundations, institutions, educational institutions, and at all levels of government.

An optional concentration in international business is available to all students but is especially applicable to business majors. Additionally, students can add a concentration in arts management.

Career and opportunities

All Business Management students from Goucher College must complete at least one internship experience that integrates their academic knowledge and skills with practical experience in the workplace.

Goucher’s Baltimore-Washington location affords ample opportunities in both business and government.

Students also participate in study abroad programs such as at Australia’s University of the Sunshine Coast and the University of East Anglia in England.

Many students also participate in three-week intensive courses abroad, such as Latin American Studies and Business Management in Cuba.
