The Computer Science Fellows program offered by Baylor University is designed for students wishing to complete a major in the School of Engineering and Computer Science, but searching for a flexible degree plan.

About

In order to be accepted into the fellows program, students must complete the application process. The Computer Science Fellows program offered by Baylor University plan is a broad and individualized course of study, designed with the help of a program director. The goal is to diversify the students' education while preparing them for graduate studies or careers in the computer science field.

In the spring of their senior year, students must complete a Fellows Thesis. This thesis will be based on extended research on a topic of the students' choosing, approved by a program director.

Although the CSF major is not a degree plan accredited by the Accreditation Board for Electronics and Technology (ABET), it offers much more flexibility in the course requirements, allowing students to focus on topics that interest them most.
