Learning outcomes
The objectives for Theology students graduating with the Bachelor of Arts degree are as follows:
- Demonstrate an increased understanding of the Christian worldview in relation to the natural and social world
- Demonstrate an increased understanding of the theological foundations of Christian ministry
- Demonstrate increased competence in practical skills of Christian ministry such as information management, strategic decision-making, and communication
- Demonstrate an enhanced foundation for subsequent formal and informal education.

General requirements
- Be able to enunciate a clear testimony of conversion to faith in Jesus Christ
- Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent (i.e., have earned a General Educational Development or GED), with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Be at least 18 years old demonstrate Christ-like character and church participation that is consistent with the MBTS Student Handbook. (This will be demonstrated through recommendation forms provided in the application process.)
- The Admissions Committee recommends that students provide their ACT/CLT/SAT scores to Spurgeon College should they want to bolster their application.
- The Admissions Committee reserves the right to request these scores at any point if they deem it necessary on a case-by-case basis.
