A Missions minor at the Maranatha Baptist University can be combined with a major such as business or education to allow you to minister effectively overseas as a teacher or business person.

English Language Requirements

    The TOEFL iBT ® measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The test has four sections (reading, listening, speaking, and writing), each with a score range of 0-30, for a total score range of 0-120.

    The TOEFL®PBT is administered in a paper format and measures your ability to use and understand English in a classroom setting at the college or university level. It accurately measures how well you can listen, read and write in English while performing academic tasks.

  • Supply character references: The character references must be completed by three people who are not relatives
  • Send your transcripts
  • Take the TOEFL test
  • Receive a decision from admissions
  • Return confirmation form and $175 deposit (USD)
  • Register for classes
  • Student Visa: Once steps 1-9 are complete, Maranatha Baptist University will issue a Form I-20 which will be signed by a Designated School Official and sent to you
