Theology gives insight into how we relate to one another, making a major in theology valuable in many careers. Most graduates are pastors, youth pastors, missionaries, and teachers; others have gone into social work or counseling, become journalists, entered the business world, or pursued law or medicine. Every year, churches and non-profits contact the department looking for more graduates than the program can provide.

  • You will grow in love and service to God and his world.
  • You will develop an awareness of major developments in the church's expression of her faith throughout history and today.
  • You will engage the world as image bearers of God and Christian agents of reconciliation in relationship to God, other humans, and God's creation.
  • You will experience the biblical narrative to call you to continue to live the biblical drama as disciples of Christ in the world.
  • You will develop creative ways to live and express the biblical message in contemporary culture.
