We also conduct a variety of field trips and will encourage and support you in securing an internship. And you’ll get to interact with experienced historians from within and beyond academia and teaching, to learn from their wisdom and experiences and be inspired by their successes.

Dominican University has an active history club and a vigorous debating society (among many other wonderful clubs and societies that are open to all students), which you will be welcome to join to both deepen your knowledge and expand your horizons. During your studies, you’ll also have the opportunity to present at the regional Phi Alpha Theta Undergraduate Research Conference.
