Virus Hunters - LETU participates in a national research program sponsored by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. In this program, students isolate previously unidentified viruses from the environment, characterizing them and sequencing and annotating their genomes. This information is then collected, with the hopes of finding viruses that would be effective on combating bacteria. Then, students present the results of their research at academic conferences and publish data in scientific journals.

Internships - gain practical experience and begin building your network.

Clinical Observation/Clinical Issues - shadow and engage in conversations with professionals in the field.

General requirements

You must submit official transcripts either by email or mail to your International Admissions officer (see below). All official transcripts must be sent directly from your high school or university. If you have completed university-level coursework outside the US, please have your foreign university transcript evaluated by one of the following approved credential evaluation companies: TEC, ECE, or WES.

All international students must demonstrate English proficiency.

The I-20 Form, necessary for securing a student visa to enter the US, will be sent to you only after admission to LeTourneau University and proof of financial resources have been established.

In addition to these documents, please submit a copy of your passport picture page via email to your International Admissions officer.
