A major in Art + Design combines a solid design foundation with focus areas in experimental fashion (efashion), textile product design, new media (digital photography/videography, digital illustration) animation and (UX) user experience design.

The Bachelor in Art and Design at North Carolina State University provides an opportunity for students who wish to combine the unique course offerings of Art + Design in the areas of:

media arts (animation, computer imaging, interactive design illustration, photography)

textile design (weaving, fiber arts, surface design)

traditional art + design (painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture) with other existing degree tracks within the College of Design.

There is an $85 application fee ($100 for international applicants). You can either pay it online or provide an official fee waiver.
Official SAT (Code # 5496) or ACT (Code # 3164) test scores should be sent directly from the testing agency
Submit your transcript – Official academic transcripts should be submitted by your high school counselor.

Show proof of English proficiency – If you are not from a country where English is the official or commonly spoken language, you need to show proof of English proficiency
