Students also have opportunities to perform in four productions each year, which include theatre, musical theatre, and opera. What kind of jobs can I anticipate after graduation?
A musical theater major can lead to a career as an actor, singer, musician, dancer, choreographer, director or self-enrichment teacher. We prepare graduates to perform in musical theater productions through training in acting, singing, and dancing, as well as experience working with choreographers and directors. Our graduates are developed into performers that are a triple threat – with skills in singing, dancing, and acting that give them a leg up at auditions and as part of casts.
