If you’ve earned at least 60 credits, you can complete your undergraduate education through Northern State University’s Bachelor of General Studies degree. As a graduate of this program, you will be qualified to pursue various career opportunities requiring a bachelor's degree. Additionally, you will be eligible to apply to graduate programs that require an undergraduate degree as a prerequisite.

Choose From Three Areas of Emphasis

General Studies program at Northern State University integrates the requisite general education core mandated by the Board of Regents alongside the graduation requirements set by our university. Instead of a conventional major, you can engage in 3 different 15-credit areas of emphasis, allowing for an extensive selection of courses across various academic disciplines.
