Overview

As a Photography minor, you have the opportunity to exhibit art work annually in the Edgewood University Student Art Exhibition. You take classes in darkroom photography, digital photography, studio portrait photography, lithography, and the history of photograph. You will also take a course in either digital art or video art, and are welcome to take additional Art Department courses of interest to you.

About this program

We offer a comprehensive visual art curriculum in fully equipped, state-of-the-art studios/classrooms. The Stream, our LEED-certified art building, is among the best visual arts facilities at small liberal arts colleges in the upper Midwest. Students and faculty have the space, tools, equipment and technology to engage and collaborate in a range of art media. From foundations to upper-level studio courses, students work closely with the faculty to develop their skills and learn to approach their creative process as unique individuals.
